Weight Loss

Not many people understand that weight loss is not as simple as 'calories in and calories out'. Many lifestyle, metabolic, genetic, and psychological factors are involved in why those who struggle with their weight can/can't keep weight off.

It can seem like there are a million different weight loss programs, and that new diet plans and exercise programs pop up every day. How do you know which one to pick? The good news is, research has identified the types of weight loss programs that can help you succeed at losing weight (and keeping it off!).  Russell always bases his programs on the following factors to give those trying to make a change a fighting chance to make 'real' lifestyle change. Disclaimer (THIS CANNOT BE DONE IN 1-2VISITS)

  1. Reasonable weight loss expectations.

  2. A diet that fits with your preferences.

  3. Keeping your favourite foods.

  4. Focus on changing both eating and activity patterns and your routine around food.

  5. Tracking your food intake.

  6. Accountability and support over the long term.

While there is no one perfect diet plan for everyone, Russell believes that through his experience and expertise, he has developed a well-rounded weight loss program incorporating the best bits of various areas of nutrition science for the best results for YOU.
